Graphic Elements and Colour Palette

Graphic Elements City Deli is a retro-inspired old-school deli, thus the whole outlook is retro vintage with a present-day vibe. The City Deli logo will fit into the header in medium to large size for some brand presence. The home page will have interior and exterior shots of the diner in a slideshow to show vistors a glimpse of City Deli's setting and ambience, enticing them to the store. Slideshows of selected food and beverage items will be displayed next to the text menu to entice visitors. Social media buttons will be located on the Contact Us page.

The home page takes some inspiration from the Lawry's, The Prime Rib website as seen below. Screenshots by me.
Colours

The colours take inspiration from the City Deli logo and their shades and tints altered slightly. The tangerine and milky yellow will be used as the background colour as orange is found to be stimulating to appetite^. A slight spongy effect was used to create texture, keeping it interesting but not distracting. The City Deli logo will act as a subtle water mark to instill some brand presence. The grape will be used for headings in either bold or italics to differentiate from the body while the wine red will appear if the link has been clicked before. Text will use the off-black in a strictly sans-serif Geneva font.
